On tap at San Benito in Half Moon Bay. Faint citrus hops with caramel malt. Clear copper with a light tan head. Taste is moderate citrus hop. Back half is caramel and some bread. Medium-thin mouthfeel.

Bottle, 10C. Clear amber with a large off-white head that laces extravagantly. Aroma of caramel, marmalade, mango skin, pine. Sweet with loads of caramel, strong bitterness rumbles through with grapefruit and pine towards the finish. Too much caramel for me but a very nice aromatic and bitter finish.

Flaske fra Bamsen78. Kraftig bittersød. Blomster og ferskner ud over forventet citrus og fyr. Varmende, fyldig eftersmag.

Typical IPA look and aroma, taste is a little sharper, caramel, toffee notes, lingering bitterness on the palate. Decent IPA from Deschutes.

Bottled. Quite brown in body for an IPA. Fizzy head, a mildly hoppy nose. But a big, fresh hop taste, with plenty of resin and pine. There’s a lot of malt in this bottle, but the hops have taken it over, which is no small feat.

Clear amber colour, cream head. Aroma of apple skin, caramel, hops, resin, sweet melon, honeydew melon. Bitter hoppy flavour, fruity, honey, resin, quite sweet. Finish pine, spruce, bitter, herbal tea, lingering sweet. Nice though.
