Keg at the Old Coffee House, 19/11/13. Mid black with a good sized light tan head. Nose is earthy, light spicey tingle, toffee, spiced chocolate, pumpkin pie, toffee fudge. Taste comprises rich spiced fruit, dark caramel, chocolate biscuits, fudge, light spice, fruit cake mix, touch of pumpkin. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, smooth on the palate. Nice pumpkin beer, not the usual murky orange fruit mess.

Keg at the Old Coffee House - London. Pours brown with red highlights and a fine, foamy off-white head. Moderate pumpkin and chalky cocoa in the nose. Medium sweet flavor with a lovely balance of chocolate and fleshy pumpkin with subtle autumnal spice accents. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Good balance on the finish, decent roast, dry chocolate, restrained but present pumpkin, hints of cinnamon. Great stuff. Exceptionally well balanced.
