Bière bue à Podgorica, au Monténégro, à la pression directement à la brasserie Akademija. Robe ambrée trouble, mousse blanche de taille correcte. Nez marqué par le pamplemousse, avec du zeste d'orange, du jus de citron et quelques notes de malt biscuité. Attaque amère, avec en parallèle une acidité citronnée assez présente. On retrouve le pamplemousse en bouche, accompagné des agrumes et des notes céréalières. C'est assez amer et un peu sour en même temps, mais l'ensemble manque légèrement d'équilibre. Pas mauvaise, mais je la trouve moins réussie que leur pale ale.

0.33l can from a supermarket in Kotor. Hazy amber body with a white head. Lots of grapefruit both in the aroma and the taste with some orange zest, lemon juice and some bready malts. Quite bitter and a bit sour at the same time. Not bad, but it's a bit off-balance.

Canned, from Podgorica. Hazy nut brown, mid sized head. Caramello nose. Mid sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Butterscotch and faint citrus. Mid bitter finish.

Clear amber pour with a decent white head. Aroma is malt, marmalade, some citrus. Taste is grapefruit, roasted malt, marmalade, tea. Not bad, but somehow not really an IPA.

Can from a Kotor supermarket. Hazy deep amber beer, good bubbly cream colour head, persistent. Light palate, mildly dry, good fine minerally carbonation. Light bodied malts, some mild creamy sweetness, some tangy caramel. Bruised orange hops and soft pine. Light smooth finish. Feels like a flaccid old skool West Coast IPA. It's mildly amusing if not something I would want a pint of.

Can. Hazy deep amber color with eggshell head. Aroma is a bit soapy, toasted malts. Taste is bready, berries, a bit sweet. Silky mouthfeel with low carbonation. Just okay, a bit too malty for an IPA for me.
