Flaska från SB. En frisk, lätt syrlig och väldigt brettad golden ale. En hel del citrus, lite estrigt smågodis och örtig och blommig brett. Känns som en öl som är beviset på att brett verkligen slagit igenom även i lite mindre sofistikerade öl. Men med det sagt är det mycket som är rätt utan att det i min mun når ända fram.

Shared with Hrabren & Habek, of course. Poured a golden-amber body with a lasting white head, small. Creamy, dusty, sweet aroma, vaguely tart, some fruit, let’s call it quince because that’s what first came to my mind. Mild, vaguely funky taste, subdued lemony notes, very light bitterness. Actually a nice little more or less by the book saison. I like it!

Bouteille 33cl de Malt Attacks, BB 12/2015. Dorée sur un léger voile trouble, col blanc fin. Arôme met de sutie l’accent sur un bouquet très belge, surtout au niveau de la levure. Note un herbacé prenant avec un houblonné américain qui contre-balance une bière qui serait tombé dans la variété du déjà-vu belge. Ce dernier joue dans la palette des agrumes tant sur l’arôme que au palais. Le palais conserve cette approche belge, surtout dans une levure de type abbaye plus que de saison. Retrouve une trace noble des houblon qui dévie rapidement vers un zeste citronné-citronnelle, citron vert et agrumes. Fini herbacé. Le tout garde une touche huileuse des houblons, malt pâle au fini grains.

Bottle from Bert’s Bierhuis Biltstraat, BB 06/2015, large sample. Slight hazy golden color, medium rocky slight off-white head. Aroma of bit spicy and funky yeast, slight green apple, citrus, bit peppery. Slight fruity sweetness, slight bitter as well, quite dry. Bit funky saisonesque stuff. Enjoyable.

Tap @ HBF15. Golden colored, thin white head. Grapefruity bite, citrus, sweetness. Flavor has grapefruit, hops, sweet tropical fruits. Bitter finish. Pleasant. Not much farmhouse aspects though.

Pours hazy orange with a large lasting head.Nose shows saison farmhouse notes, soft vegetal characters, banana, herbal and spicy hops.Flavours show more herbal/spicy hops, some earthy notes from the saison yeast and ends with a dry finish.

Tap @ Van Moll. Clear golden colour with a small to medium sized white head. Smells malts, grains, slightly boring. Tastes malts, sweet, grains, slightly wheat. Medium body, soft carbo.

Bottle from Voldby Købmandsgaard - pours gold with a white head. Aroma and taste is grassy and floral, farmhouse fruits, barnyard yeasty, some nice subtle spices in there, very enjoyable brew.

Draught @ BrewDog Helsinki. Aroma has soapy tones, fruits and some grass. Also some funky yeast. Flavour has fruit sugar, apricot, some grass and funky yeasty tones. Tastes like a saison.
