Malzig-säuerlicher Beginn, weich, geringfügig bitter. Süffig, Holznoten, feine Karbonisierung. Vollmundiger Mittelteil, der nur einen Ticken zu trocken ist, ansonsten hier und im weiteren Verlauf rund, die geringfügig steigende Säure gefällt. Mittellanger Nachhall, erneut dominiert von holzigen und säuerlich malzigen Noten. 9/9/11/11/10/11

33cl bottle. Pours very dark red brown colour with a mid-sized beige head. Aroma of dark malt, dark fruits, sourish notes. Taste is mild roasty, caramel, brown sugar, wood, sourish.

Bottled. An amber beer with a with lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, and fruits. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and lemons, leading to a bitter finish.

clear dark amber, small offwhite head. aroma is fruity, malty. nice aroma. flavor is fruity, notes of berries, wood, very nice bitter fresh berryish fruity woody flavor.

33 cl bottle. Pours clear and golden deep maghoni brown. Mouldy, toasted and chemical. Paint and dark malty. Chemical. Mild fruity, toasted malty. Breadish. Fruity.

er staat niets op het flesje wat voor stijl het is. schenkt donker bruin met rode gloed, kaki kraag welke toch vrij snel inkakt tot beperkt maar blijvend laagje. Aroma is moutig, donkere fruiten maar ook een brett zuurtje. smaken zijn redelijk aan de zure kant, koffie, droog, matig zoet, matig bitter, donker fruit, verder glad en zacht in de mond. koffie Even opgezocht bij de brouwer wat voor stijl het nu eigenlijk was, maar volgens een posting van vorig jaar blijkbaar een niet alledaagse Vlaamse Bruine. nou alledaags is het iig zeker niet... ben er nog niet achter of het nu zo bedoeld is of niet...

33cl bottle from ABCBeers, Thick creamy off white head. Clear amber pour. Slightly sour. I was told by the brewers that this was an old ale but it seems to be a Flemish brown as Denk says.

Bottle shared with dEnk. Very hazy red-brown color, average sized off-white to beige head. Smell malts, earthy, a bit sourish. Taste malts, sourish again, can’t be intended can it? Average body and carbonation. No, not good.
