Slufterbok is een echte Winterbok, robijnrood, vol van smaak dankzij de 6 soorten geroosterde gerstemout. Dit bovengistende bier is met 7,5% alcohol verwarmend in de koude periode op het eiland Texel. De vele soorten geroosterde mout zorgen voor een bont pallet aan smaken van karamel, koffie en een vleugje laurier. De brouwers van de Tesselaar maken nog gebruik van echte hopbellen. Hierdoor ontstaan de zachte bittertonen in dit donkere bier. De ideale drink temperatuur is rond de 8 graden in ons mooie slanke Tesselaar glas. Slufterbok dankt zijn naam aan de prachtige natuur in de Slufter! Daar waar de zee nog dagelijks vrij spel heeft en je keer op keer verrast word door de schoonheid van dit natuurgebied. Gedronken na een prachtige tour door de Slufter met de “Jan Plezier” of wandeling in ieder jaargetijde van harte aanbevolen.

330ml bottle. Slightly cloudy, dark brown colour with ruby shimmer and small to average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, beige head. Slightly nutty, dark malty aroma, a touch of milk chocolate. Taste is sweet-ish, chocolately and slightly nutty, dark malty, slightly bitter, leafy hoppy, hints of milk chocolate, burnt caramel. Watery texture, smooth and slightly dry palate, medium, prickly carbonation. Slightly unbalanced, minimally overcarbonated - not that impressive.

Dark brown with offwhite head. Sweet, roasted, wood, chestnut, bitter, crunchy caramels, deep earthy. This is a pretty fine bock. I don’t usually like the style but this is nice. Medium body and soft carb. Bit like melting caramel icecream.

Clear ruby brown colour, small frothy beige head, diminishing slowly to a thin layer, almost no lacing. Aroma sweet and roasted malts, caramel, candy sugar, artificial sweetener, bit syrupy. Taste very sweet and some malty bitterness, malty, burnt caramel, sugary, liquorice, faint spicy notes. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, cloying sugary sweet aftertaste, way too sweet, didn't finish this one, disappointing.
