0,33l in a fancy bottle. BB 06.11.2016 (rather short?). quite the gusher, made a big mess all over my eating table. brown hazy colior, medium off-white head. smells fruity, plums, quite doughy, light spices, bread, some sweetness. overall nice smell. full body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes lightly fruity, plums, spices, a bit peppery, some bread, light sweetness, light alcohol, some raisins, marzipan, bitter almonds. finishes rather balanced with notes of spices, raisins and some bitter almonds also some bread. overall rather good beer, rather heavy, but overall quite good to drink.

Bottle from somewhere in France. Poured a clear medium amber with a frothy white head and some clingy lace. The aroma is yeast, sweet malt. The flavour is moderate sweet with a rich smooth fruity, light alcohol bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Sampled from an 11.2 oz brown bottle this beer poured a red-orange color with a large fluffy orange-tan head that lingered and left a bit of lacing. The aroma was malty and sweet with notes of toffee, nut, cherry and cola. The flavor was crisp and spritzy fruitiness followed by light notes of toffee, tobacco and yeast. Medium length finish. Medium body. Interesting.

750 ml bottle purchased at Cigarette City, Seabrook for a price of $9.99. Amber type color thin lasting head. Aroma is light earthy spice, mild herbs and a different yeast Syrian I don’t remotely recognize.

The flavor has a balance of sweet malts and a herbal earthy character that leads to a dry finish. This could be a slightly better if fresh. Of course without any type of best before or bottle date it’s hard to know if this could be better or not. It’s French so likely this is as good as it gets.
