After enduring the never ending sunlight during summer, the relief of seeing the sun set once again soothed us to brew this brown Ale. Also honouring the annual Blues festival with the same name. The balance of deep caramel and slight fruitiness is perfect for a cold Svalbard autumn

Can 330ml @ Rasmus hyttetur. Pours clear amber with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel and hint of nuts. Taste is light to medium sweet and light bitter with a long caramel finish. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft

Can shared at "ZZT nieuw leven in blazen"-tasting. Brownish color, red hue, average sized off-white head. Aroma and flavor are malts, quite hoppy, dark malts, nicely medium bitter but also a slight sweetness. Quite alright.

Pours dark brown with a lacing tan head. Aroma: plenty of roasted malts, toffee and walnuts. Taste: caramelly malts, dried fruits, toffee and roasted nuts. Good in his style.

Can from De Bierkoning, Amsterdam. Aroma is sweet brown malts with caramel, hoppy notes, touch of chocolate, roasted nuts and orange. Moderate bittersweet flavour. Always a pleasure to find a good Brown Ale.
