Bottle from Appellation Wines. Appearance - golden with a proportionate head. Nose - sweet malt. Initial sweetcorn that dissipates. Herbs and a metallic note. Taste - lemon and malt well melded together with a bitter herb finish. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - just what I needed on a humid autumn day.

500ml bottle from Appellation Wines, Cheers Ash! Pours clear pale gold, thick white head. Aromas of lemon, light malt. Taste is light sweet, grassy bitterness. Nice balance, very drinkable. Slight malty finish.

@ Stuhlmacher, Munster. Thick creamy white head. Clear golden pour. A refreshing pilsner while sitting in the September sunshine.

Draught @ Il Serpente, Rome. Pours yellow with a white head. Aroma of malt, light grainy, hay. Flavor is malty, grain, hay, little citrus. Thin to medium body, lively carbonation. 060414

Catch up rating. Nice crisp, clean pilsener! Pleasant surprise, poured into stemmed pilsener glass, one finger white head and a pale golden body with nice active carbonation. Refreshing, nice mix of malt and hops for a clean finish.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein klares goldgelbes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch hopfig, getreidig, grasig. Geschmack hopfig, grasig, lang anhaltende Bitterkeit.

Bitter-malty beginning. Crisp but not smooth. The mainpart is a bit malty, slightly grainy. Crisp but not as smooth as the Union-Siegelpils from the same brewer. The aftertaste is long, a bit more hop-intense than the Siegelpils. But not as smooth. The bitter note stays much longer on the tongue, but nice hop-aroma is missing…

Mild weicher Antrunk, feinherb aber ohne florale Note. Würzig-getreidig, leicht süßlich. Der Nachgeschmack ist feinherb, leicht würzig-getreidig, leicht süßlich und irgendwie muffig herb.

Tap @ a restaurant in Düsseldorf. Clear golden with a lasting white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, light buttery and moderate hoppy - straw. Flavor is medium sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish. 270712

Yellow colour with a white head. Mild malty aroma. Mild malty an hoppy flavour. I think that only BVB fans love this beer. Ok and refreshing, but nothing special.

330ml bottle. Pale golden colour with small, frothy, minimally lacing, white head. Flat grainy and strawy aroma. Slightly metallic taste, a citrus touch. Absolutely boring and characterless Pilsener.
