Pours a soft yellow haze with a one finger head that fades quick. Mild classic Pilsner aroma. Clean start with mild bitterness in the middle with a clean finish.

Green 0.5 litre bottle, best before the end of Nov 2011, poured into two Veltins badged stemmed tulip glasses late Oct 2011. Looks the archetypal Pilsner, clear, clean and bright: golden and light. On top the usual white top which never really has any staying power and goes before the beer gets to your lips. The smell is grainy grass and not much else. A very dry Pilsner, otherwise not much going on. Crisp, sharp and refreshing, not the No1 Pilsner, just an average one.

Bottle. Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Yellow colour. Light malty and moderate hoppy nice grassy aroma. Moderate bitter flavor. Average moderate bitter finish. Oily palate. Nice.

Bottle. Milky barley malt and grass hops aroma. Clear medium yellow color with moderate white head. Slightly sweet smooth barley malt and moderately bitter grass hops flavor. Medium body. Nice beer.

Bottle. A clear, straw colored beer with a decent white head. A bit weak on the nose, with peppery, resiny hops dominating. Pale malts and grass too. A bit too heavy on co2 I think, medium body and quite dry. The flavor has grassy, resiny hops and pale malts, with a good bitterness taking you to the finish. A decent one, but far from outstanding. 091008

Draught at a bar outside the hbf in Bochum, Germany. On December 28, 2008. Clear pale golden color, nice fluffy lasting white head. Sweet malty scent. Sweet malty taste. Medium mouthfeel, medium bitterness.

thanks, kim for sharing. clear light yelow, white head. aroma is sort of sweet and a little hoppy. flavor is sweet, cererally and slightly bitter in a weird way.
