St.Bernardus Tokyo Sounds familiar? You are quite right, because in 2012 we launched a one-off brew on the occasion of the opening of the first St.Bernardus-themed café in the Japanese capital. Eight years later, you can sample our St.Bernardus Tokyo again, albeit with a new recipe!
The young Belgian illustrator Jonas Devacht created the artwork for the can, which consists of an impression of Japanese nightlife in the iconic streets of Kanda district, where you can find ‘Brasserie St.Bernardus’.
St.Bernardus Tokyo is an unfiltered ale, which has been brewed with a large amount of wheat, holding the middle between a white beer and a saison.
Character, taste, aromas
St.Bernardus Tokyo is famed for its hints of citrus, combined with likeable florals of chamomile and fruity yeast aromas of banana and red apple. Attentive beer fans may also detect a hint of clove and vanilla, as well as the typical esters of our unique St.Bernardus yeast. A refreshing beer with a spicy aroma and a slight hint of bitterness and sourness on the back of the palate! A real treat for the more adventurous beer fan.

Color amarillo claro, turbia, espuma blanca de conservación media-baja. Emana aroma muy floral, con notas de levadura, jazmín, azahar, naranja madura, trigo, pan, especias, fruta de hueso, plátano...no esta mal, un aroma tan fresco como rico. En boca se siente muy rica, llena de notas frutales, cereal, trigo, especias, cilantro...muy fina y muy bien hecha, una wittbier de buen nivel, a la altura de St. Bernardus.

Can (from drinkonline.eu). Hazy yellow colour, mediumsized white foamy head. Aroma is wheat, some floral tones with mild nectar, earth and caramel as well. Flavour is aloe vera, grassy, herbal, mild herbal and earthy tones.

A murky and light yellow beer, a head is medium and blond. Aroma has flowers, camomille light spicyness and lemon. Taste has wheat, camomille, flowers, light citrus. Medium bodied. Aromatic with lots of flowers.

12 oz. can. Pours a clear, bright, yellow color, with a big, pillowy, white head. The aroma is lemon verbena, orange peel, light hay, and grains of paradise. Sweet and yeasty, with a mellow, smooth bitterness. Just a touch tart. Light, frothy, a bit grainy, and clean. Easy, quality, and delicious.
