Orange. Foamy beige head. Inviting aroma of orange and grapefruit. Similar taste, with good bitterness. Moderately bitter aftertaste with orange marmelade.

33 cl bottle @ hotel room, Amsterdam. BBE 20.01.2015
Lots and lots of foam when pouring. Aroma is hoppy with exotic fruits, peaches and some caramel. Flavour has minerals, fruity hops, grapefruit and caramel. Decent IPA that lacks the ’t IJ house flavour.

33 cl bottle @ home. Clear amber color. White to off white head with a small layer retention. Aroma’s: (earhty) hops, somewhat caramellish malts. Also (red) fruit retronasal, with nice hop aroma. Flavor is moderate bitter with a fruity backbone. Light to medium bodied. Finishes rather dry, with a delicate, slightly herbal bitterness. Pretty nice.

33cl Bottle from De Bierkoning. Hazy amber colour, off-white head. Aroma of tropical fruits, fruit acids, melon, pineapple, pine, tickles the nostrils. Flavour is medium-sweet, hint of toast, tropical fruits, nuts, light fruity acidity, decent bitter finish with some pine. Light-bodied. Will revisit this, for now it’s OK. Perhaps this is not my hop.

Tap tasted on 16/05/2014. Clear amber colour with a nice off white head. Aroma is very fruity and very hoppy. Hop is predominant on a complex and balanced taste. Nice aftertaste, nice carbonation and a little bitter on mouth. Next one please!

Clear amber colour. Strong floral hop in the aroma. Flavour is lighter with good malt/hop balance.

Draught @ Nederlands Speciaalbier Festival Den Bosch 2014. Hazy orange color, small to average sized beige head. Aroma has a lot of nice floral and grassy hops. Taste malts, floral and grassy hops again, nicely bitter. Medium body, firm lively carbonation.

Tap @ NSF14. Hazy orange, small white head. Smells hops, fresh, fruity, nice. Tastes hops, pine, fresh, bitter, fruity, nice. Medium body, soft to medium carbo.
