La communauté monastique et le personnel de la brasserie ont le plaisir immense de vous annoncer la sortie de notre nouvelle bière : la Trappistes Rochefort « Triple Extra » !
Avant même la production des célèbres Trappistes Rochefort 6 – 8 – 10 dans les années 50, les moines de Rochefort ont brassé, en 1920 et pendant plusieurs années, une bière « blonde extra-forte ».
Cent ans plus tard, les Moines sont très heureux de brasser à nouveau une bière blonde forte inspirée de la recette originale : la Trappistes Rochefort « Triple extra ».
Moelleuse et avec un corps bien prononcé comme le sont nos classiques 6–8-10, la Triple Extra se distingue par sa couleur blond doré, ses notes d’agrumes et son parfum épicé.
Ce subtil mélange de tradition et de savoir-faire vous fera découvrir une bière rafraichissante qui ravira le palais des amateurs de bières de dégustation.
A déguster en toutes circonstances dans son verre Rochefort et à servir entre 6 et 9 degrés.

Bottle at Hops, Crewe. Pours golden amber with a medium sized frothy off-white head. There’s banana, malts and yeast in the aroma. In the mouth it is sweet and juicy with a creamy texture, plus just a trace of underlying bitterness. Flavour is a heady combination of malts, herbs, spices, cloves and orange peel. Hints of ginger and alcoholic strength come later, leading to a dry and boozy finish. This is rather nice – an excellent tripel.

Bottle shared at home in Alkmaar. Pours opaque golden with a thick white head. Nose is candi, citric notes, esters. Taste is sweet, malty, boozy, estery, sugary. Closes with a dry, boozy finish, it’s got a light body and average to high carbonation. Too much booze and sugary-estery character for me.

Аромат был классный, нежный и немного сухой, прежде всего немного цитрусов от апельсинов, намеки на травянистость легкую и сухофрукты. Цвет немного мутный, средний по темноте, желтый, пенка неплохая, стойкая весьма. Вкус продолжение аромата, хотя при этом немного водянисто. Сильная сухость снова, цитрусы есть но все таки слегка отошли на второй план, много дрожжей при этом, корка паельсина не такая явная. При глотке вяжет язык, появляется много хлеба от дрожжей, снова травянистость, намеки на сухофрукты и мед, но снова не достаточно для топового трипеля. Как по мне, оригинал был лучше.

Bottle from a local bottle shop. Aroma is yeasty with malt, spicy notes, some fruity esters, clove, lightly herbal. Touch of caramel, sugary fruits, even some hop accents. Flavour is medium sweet with a light bitterness. Above medium body. Beautiful brewing, absolutely a top tier Tripel.

(Bottle, Poechenellekelder, Brussels, 19 Oct 2024) Hazy golden colour with big frothy white head. Traces of lacing. Fruity nose with notes of citrus, orange peel, coriander and herbs. Malty, fruity taste with orange, pineapple, herbs, coriander, candy sugar and a gentle herbal/spicy bitterness. Almost full body, with a certain sweetness. Rich, solid and well made tripel. Very nice.

Bottle from HOTM, online. Semi-hazy gold with foamy white head, lots of sediment in mine. Aroma of sweet malts, hay, candied orange, pear, alcohol. Taste of banana, syrup, pear, clove, mint, bitter slightly boozy finish. Medium slightly creamy body. Flavoursome Tripel with a kick in the finish - I like it.

Bottle 0,33 ltr: Cloudy blonde coloured brew with an fine sticky sweet bitter taste with hints of orange, peach, pear, bit of banana and nicely coriander and pepper.
