Hazy amber, small white head. Fruity, hoppy aroma. Orange, peach and caramel. Taste pretty much the same but with a strong, piney bitterness. Semi sticky finish, long, bitter aftertaste.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein orangegoldenes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch intensiv hopfig malzig, fruchtig. Geschmack sehr malzig herb, stark fruchtig, intensive Bitterkeit.

Bottle. Pours opaque reddish amber with medium withe head. Aroma is orange, grapefruit, mandarin, resin, spruce, yoghurt, caramel and brown sugar. Taste is medium sweet, medium to heavy bitter and light acidic. Body is oily with fizzy carbonation. Finish is long and medium bitter with notes of citrus, spruce, resin, caramel, toffee, nuts, grape seeds, appels and faint hints of salty licorice. Good balance.

4oz pour at Max’s Hop Fest 2013. Pours a hazy burnt orange with some creamy, white head. Nose of orange peel, cracker, bread crust, pine, soap. Flavor is malty, lemon, white grape, soap, pine. Wet finish.

Smell of caramel, metal. Copper colour, beige head. Aroma of syrup, hops, malt, some oak. Sweet, medium bitter. Flat but plentiful carbon. A bit of a disppointment.

50 cl. bottle, shared. Hazy, dark amber colour with a small, dense, light tan head. Fruity aroma with citrus and grass hops, grapefruits, caramel malts and light hints of chocolate. Taste is light bitter. Full body, creamy texture and a soft carbonation. Finishes bitter with a hearty amount of caramel malts. Not as rich as some of the American DIPAs, still a good experience.

Bottle: Poured a hazy orangey/amber color ale with good retention and some good lacing. Aroma of citrus and earthy hops is quite enjoyable. Taste is a great mix of citrus hoppy notes with light earthy notes with medium sweet caramel malt base. Body is about average with good carbonation. Not bad but maybe a tad too bitter with floral notes definitely lacking.

Smak och doft av humle, malt, karmell, smörkola och söta karameller. Mjuk och len med en kraftig humlebeska som avrundar det hela.

A reddish amber ale with a thin off white head. In aroma, a good dose of biscuit malt , treacle, vinous malt, and British hops. In mouth, a nice smooth caramel with vinous character, smooth floral hops, menthol, barley wine like. Shared with GRM, Pushkinwow, and Ian, March 8 2013.
