Mycket fyllig doft av Malt å humle. Väldigt fyllig smak med tydliga toner av kaffe. Smakrik å riktigt god.

50 cl bottle @ home. Rated on 24.04.2010
Aroma has ripe fruits, caramel, some hops and hints of biscuits. Flavour has caramel, some exotic fruits, hops and hints of berries typical to Danish beers. A bit harsh, malty finish. Decent.

Bottle. Dark amber colour with an off white head. Hoppy caramel nose. Sweet malty with a massive hop flavour, and a bit to much alcohol.

Bottle at home Dark amber colour, hazy, with a frothy off-white head which diminsh fast, but stays as a thin layer. Smells of of fruity hops and grapefruit. Flavours of grassy hops and more fruit. Feels little bit slick and oily with a round and nice heavy bitterness which stays for while. Overall a beer with a lot of taste and is well balanced.

Mycket välhumlad a la USA och stark men med en väldigt beskedlig beska som gör den väldigt lättdrucken. Humlen matchas av en fyllig och något knäckig maltkropp. Ett stort öl som stannar kvar länge i alla sinnen.

Hazy, deep orange colour. Smells like sweaty feet, vanilla and (Dutch:) tuinbonen. Tastes hoppy, bitter and grapefruit, but not enough. Good mouthfeel. Not a great double IPA in my book. Re-rate: Smells way better then the time before. Hoppy, citrus, fruity. Tastes not fruity and bitter enough.. But quite okay.

Bottle @ home, shared with DutchDrebus. Slightly hazy light red color with a little bit of yeast-residu in it. Firm off-white head. Smells a little sweaty, not that hoppy and I really miss the fruityness. Taste to me also misses the really hoppy and (grape)fruity character. Not a good double IPA in my opinion. Decent beer, but not in its style.

50cl bottle from Alko. POured hazy, dark orange/amber color with a steady head. Aroma is grapefruity hops and sweet malt. Flavor is similar, sweet fruity, caramel and a bitter finish. Very barley wine style IPA. Very easy to drink, nearly no alcohol noticeable. Oily mouthfeel. Very nice, although slightly too sweet, lots of the hoppy flavor stays in the background.

500ml bottle from Alko Arkadia
Pours dark orange with a hazy head. Aroma has hints of berries, alcohol and hops. Taste is sweet and malty with hints of fruits. Hops kick in at the end. Sticky mouthfeel, smooth and bitter finish. Quite well balanced and enjoyable double IPA.
