Hazy amber with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and very hoppy - grapefruit and pine. Flavor is quite sweet and very bitter. Dry and very bitter finish. The bitterness is somewhat rough, but otherwise a great beer. 241209

Bottled 500ml. -Slight hazy amber coloured, medium sized off-white head, grapefruity nose. Moderate malty, very aromatic hoppy and agrumey with notes of caramel. Touch of alcohol in the finish. Decent double IPA.

On tap @ Beer Temple. Orange/amber color with chunks of yeast floating throughout. Nice off white head, with lacing. Aroma’s of sweet malt, fruit (apricot) and resiny & citrussy hops, all nicely mixed. Fairly bitter flavor, somewhat acidic and a hint of caramel sweetness. Dry finish. Not bad.

0.5l bottle. Pours a quite dark orange body with a purple hue. Thin off-white head leaving big lacings. Quite sweet malty aromas, containing notes of fruity apricot, peaches, passion fruit along with the piny hops and some grapefruit. Medium to full-bodied with decent carbonation. Quite sweet malty flavors along with your typical tropic fruits. Finishes off in a nice medium dry and bitter ending.

Very dark amber beer, almost brown. Semi dry palate, a little soft. Very dark IPA! Really not that hoppy for the style. A fair bit of malt. a touch of marmalade hops and then more malt and some licorice spice in the finish. Smooth and well joined up but a curious IPA.

(Bottle) Amber colour with dense, beige head. Fruity, hoppy nose with grapefruit, Seville orange, citrus peel, honey, apricots and caramel. Fruity, malty taste with notes of caramel, Seville orange, grapefruit and peaches. Hoppy, slightly vinous finish with citrussy hops and a warming touch of alcohol. Almost full body, fairly sweet. Nice one.
