Bottled:
Pours hazy amber with a thick head. Aroma is hops and sweet toffee. Flavour is sweet toffe, butter scotch, hops and a little bit of liquorice. After taste is quite sweet and has notes of hazel nuts and bitter hops. This beer feels like the bastard son of a barley wine and a double IPA.

Bottle, 2009-12-16, Göteborg, 9C AR: Roasted coffey, after being pored american hops AP: 3 cm high fully lasting beige head, amber/brown body F: Heavy bitterness - unfortunatly totally taking over the b-ness! Alcohole is there as well, dissapers after more then half the bottle. - Sorry not my cup of tee!

(bottle) Cloudy, reddish amber colour with a short off-white foamy head. Moderately sweet and sightly toasted malty aroma with a touch of licorice and flowery, slightly piney and citrus-fruity hops. Sweet and moderately bitter flavour, full bodied with a medium carbonation. Solid malty, slightly toasted body with notes of caramel, licorice and a fruity and flowery hoppy accent, lingering into the moderately bitter finish with a well-rounded malty sweetness and delicate alcoholic notes (15.II.09).

Test vom 1.1.2009, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 11,12,12,11,13,12 - 11,80

(Bottle at One Pint, Helsinki, at the end of 2007) Stong pleasant hoppy flavour and aroma. Decently strong bodied beer. Its colour is amber and the beer is clear. Quite good double IPA.

Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. Marked as best before December 13, 2009. Not really a DIPA in my book, maybe a English barley wine. Pours with a light brown head that sticks and a hazy brownish body. Aroma of grainy brown sugar, marzipan and light raspberries. Taste is husky with sweet malt and molasses. Syrupy mouthfeel, light bubbles.

Bottled. Hazy copper color, short off-white head. Aroma of caramel malt, some hop, slight spicy. Slight bitter taste, very malty, some sugary sweetness, cane sugar. Finishes more bitter. Does not remind of a IPA, but more a barley wine maybe.
