Had this on tap at the Cockney Pub, Aarhus 16-09-08 (also have been given a bottle by Kim Johannsen, cheers Kim Pours amber with some orange with a white head. Taste is quite sharp with some unripe satsuma or mandarin the bitterness clings sweetness is there and sits under the tongue and not so much of it. Really looking forward to the bottle from Kim.

Bottle 0,5l. Amber colored. A decent good-looking tanned head. Strong fruity aroma. Almost shocking strong flavor of grapefruit making it a bit unbalanced. Dry citric aftertaste with the alcohol shining through. KI=9

(6/29/08) Bottle sample at RBESG08 grand tasting in Plzen. Deep amber. Aroma has big piney hoppiness with some citrus. Flavor starts sweet with caramel and finishes with long hoppy bitterness with citrus and some resin. Medium to full-bodied.

500 ml bottle. Hazy amber/orange body with a nice, dense beige head. Aroma is nice and hoppy, citrus/grapefruit. Flavor of sweet malt and fruity floral hops, citrus and a definitive bitterness. Quite straight forward, but well made and balanced. I like it a lot.

500ml bottle from Vinmonopolet (Norway). Shared with Finn Arvid. Nutty brown body with off-white patchwork on the surface. Hop fruity aroma. Succulent hops up front with caramel malts behind. Dry bitter ending. Full bodied. Heavy stuff (02.08.2008).

500 ml bottle, now available in Norway (Vinmonopolet). ABV is 9.2%. Copper coloured beer, decent off-white head. Strong and very nice aroma of fruity American hops, some hints of spices of too. The flavour is first malty and slightly sugary sweet with notes of caramel, then an intense harsh and overwhelming bitterness takes over. Overkill, too bitter and harsh for me.

Dark nut brown color, small off-white head. Bready-hoppy aroma. Sweetish malty, kind of grassy hopping. Some cardboard, otherwise solid double IPA. Easy, not too difficult IIPA.

Big beige head. Hazy red-amber body. Intense citric tropical fruit aroma with notes of mango and malts. Dry malty citric tropical fruit taste with light catty notes. Some sweetness, too. Slight alcohol heat. Mouthfeel has some softness to it, before the hop bite sets in. A bit of chalk, too. Taste burns pleasurably in the mouth. Bitter roasty aftertaste with some alcohol and oranges. Very long aftertaste. Lovely, a powerful beer to sip. (0.5l, Vinmonopolet.)

RBESG08 grand tasting Wrote it as Amager accidentally, but I’m positive that it’s actually this. Poured a hazy red body with a lasting white head. Strong aroma hops in the nose. Sweet maltiness on top of the big hopiness. A nice beer. Actually wrote a good deal more but it’s not all that legible. Oops
