330ml bottle, from trade with the band MonsterMagnet. Many thanks! Pours hazy gold with a head of foam. Sweet green apple / cider farm aroma. Taste is bright and sweet, in fact more flavoursome than expected with a tart apple bite and a pushy acidity. Some farmhouse moments with light tannin scuzz, but essentially its all about the big sharp sweet apple fruit. Not bad.

Bottle @ weekly tasting shared by Dutchdrebus. Clear light orange golden color, very small off-white head. Smell and taste apples, sweet white wine, sweet, medium dry. Medium dry to dry finish. Hmm not bad actually.

Bottle @ home. Slightly hazy yellow to amber colour with a small white head. Smells like a blow up swimming pool, apple, sweet. Tastes apple, slightly honey, sweet, slightly salty somehow. Medium body, soft carbo. Mediocre beer.

Fonefan 241014. Pale golden colour with some white bubbles. Aroma is apple, pear, sugar. Flavour is apple, yeast, sourness, sugar. Ordinary cider.

Bottle 330ml. [ As UWE Betuwe Cider Rood ].ABV: 6.5%. Clear medium yellow color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, fully diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate apple, red apple, sugary apples, light white sugar - pear. Flavour is moderate sweet with a average duration, red apples, sugary apples, apple syrup - limonade. Body is medium, texture is watery, carbonation is flat. [20141024]

Bottle It pours an almost clear, golden body and some bubbles on top. The aroma has some pear at first, but it’s mostly apples. Some apple cores too. It’s medium bodied and quite dry, with a nice carbonation level. A bit dry perhaps. Mostly apples in the flavor, all the way, some apple cores kicking in. Lasting finish. A decent one, althoug I find it a bit dry and lacking on complexity. 141024

Bottled from Burg Bieren, BB 2014, large sample, served in an Oersoep tulip/wine glass. Initially clear golden color, short frothy head, quite some small bubbles around, leaving smooth lacing. Aroma of fresh apples, slight sweetish note, soft oak wood, slight tart. Very nicely balanced. Soft sweet taste, slight sugar, bit dry, slight sour green apple note. Nice combination between sour green and sweet red apples. Soft to medium carbonation, medium bodied. This is much better than the 5% version. And I even think that this balance would be perfect for an ice cider. If only... :-)
