Bottled from Burg Bieren, BB 2014, large sample, served in an Oersoep tulip/wine glass. Initially clear golden color, short frothy head, quite some small bubbles around, leaving smooth lacing. Aroma of fresh apples, slight sweetish note, soft oak wood, slight tart. Very nicely balanced. Soft sweet taste, slight sugar, bit dry, slight sour green apple note. Nice combination between sour green and sweet red apples. Soft to medium carbonation, medium bodied. This is much better than the 5% version. And I even think that this balance would be perfect for an ice cider. If only... :-)

33cl bottle from Biernavigatie. Thin white head. Cloudy golden amber pour. More tart than the 5% cider. Less drinkable but still a decent cider

helder gouden zonder kraag aroma: appeltjes, zuurtje, smaken: licht zoet, licht zuur, appeltjes maar niet zo uitgesproken, niet overdreven zuur, prikkelend, appeltjes hadden iets nadrukkelijk aanwezig mogen wezen. lichte body

Bottle from Berts Bierhuis. Curious to see how this would turn out. Pale yellow colour, fast disappearing white head. Nose is medium sweet apple, apple juice, slightly acidic. Flavour is medium sweet apple, apple juice, hint of vinegar. Medium carbonation. Light bodied and watery. Not as good as their 5% cider.
