Say hello to the Bearded Lady, our uncompromisingly big and beautiful Imperial Stout. Born from our Dark Arts recipe, she uses masses of magical malts to deliver deep chocolate, rich coffee and vinous berry flavours, all complemented by a balanced yet subtly spicy hop profile. Powerful, robust, intriguing: yet decadently smooth and sumptuous, the lady demands respect.

Cask at CBC 2016, yellow session. Pours black, tan head. Roasted malts, coffee, cocoa, wood, peat. However I believe this one was off because it had certain, very unpleasant plastic aroma/flavor probably from the plastic cask it was served in. When I asked the guys tried to assure me it was just peat, but since I’ve tried handfull of peated BA beers and whiskys I wouldn’t agree on that. Anyway looking at other rates especially at untappd seems something went wrong. It’s a shame cause it seems like a very good brew. Another candidate for re-rate.

Cask? @CBC 2016. Poured near black with a brown looking head. Wood diminates totally in the aroma, some roasted elements and bitter chocolate. Flavor has mostly wood as well, some roastedness. Didn´t like it at all.

Tap @ Copenhagen Beer Celebration, 2016. Pours black with a creamy head. Nutella, roast, hazel, candy and coffee. Smooth and soft. That artificial feel.

Cask @CBC16. Black small tan bubbles. Aroma has coffe, wood and roast. Woody flavor, grassy and green leaves. Total turnoff for me… Smooth mouthfeel, sweetish.
