Bottle from Ship in a Bottle, West Kirby. Amber pour crowned with a lingering mid range off-white head. Nose had some promising grapefruit and grassy hops. Similar, sweetish flavour with more citrus/tropical fruits and floral hoppage. Solid lingering bitterness in the finish. Decent offering, would love to try fresh and on keg.

330ml bottle. Cloudy, orangey, deep golden colour with average to huge, frothy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Resinous hoppy aroma, zesty orange and tangerine notes. Taste is dry hoppy, zesty, orange and tangerine again, some resin, slightly sweet caramel malty basis.

Keg at Brewdog Shepard’s Bush. Clearing up the last of the tap takeover. Translucent reddy orange coloured pour with a lasting off white head. Aroma is sharp lemon, pollen, orange rind, tangy fruit. Flavour is composed of tangy sharp citrus fruits, hint of caramel, midget gem mixed fruits. Palate is semi sweet, highish carbonation and a nice dry finish. Lingering tangy orange rind and grapefruit. Hop is nicely balanced by a little bit of sweetness coming through. Packs a decent hop bitterness punch.

Draught. Clear amber liquid with medium to big off-white head. Aroma of citrus, grain, caramel, lemon peel and pine. Taste is light sweet and light to medium bitter with notes of caramel, citrus, sweet corn and pine. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Decent but lacking in hop aroma and unnecessarily malty.
