Duchesse Petite is a Flemish Red Ale aged in Oak. The beer is brewed with deeply roasted malt, spicy hops, fruity yeast and fresh water from a well with a depth of 172 m, which ensures constant quality and purity impeccable water. After the main and secondary fermentation, the Duchesse Petite undergoes a third fermentation in tapered oak vats for several months.

Can from Total Wine in Folsom, CA. Pours dark ruddy brown with a slight, creamy tan head. Aroma of dark cooking cherry. Med body. It's tart, yet a bit sweet. Cooking cherry. Some slightly musty wood notes. A little funk. Quite approachable.

Pretty solid beer. Apricot and sour plum. Tangerine and black cherry. Barrel integrates super well. Seriously a wonderful Flanders sour. Dark brown pour with great head and lacing. Tangy fruity end. A serious beer. Can.

Can from Livonia Liquor. Pours a deep burgundy color with a small off-white head. Cherry stone aromas with light vinegar, oak and slight dark grape notes as it warms. Light on the palate, but still some nice body for the 4.5 abv. Cherry, iron and oak on the finish.
