Tap at Brouwcafe, Scheveningen: Very dark brown coloured brew with medium bitter taste and some hints of chocolate. Could be much better this beer, than it will become an legend.

Tap at the Broufcafe. Poured a murky dark brown with a bubbly off white head. The aroma is malt yeast and a touch of acidity. The flavour is medium bitter with a watery malt hop liqourice palate and only the slightest hint of chocolate. Light bodied with average carbonation. For a chocolate porter I expected more chocolate and it’s way too light, it needs more body and.a good frothy head. A few short-lived bubbles just don’t do it for me I’m afraid.

On tap at the brewpub. thick tan head that disappears quickly. Low carbonation. Clear black pour. Lots of chocholate in the afertaste. Slight bitterness.
