Polish IPA (from a brewery I haven't heard of before) hopped with Cascade, thanks to Jonathan for sharing! Thick and fluffy, egg-white, slowly dissipating, shred-lacing, generally stable head on a hazy warm orange-hued apricot blonde beer. Aroma of unripe mandarin, dried orange peel, dust, pineapple, sweet onion, dried mango cubes, moist white pepper, old 'herbes de Provençe'. Cleanly fruity, sweetish onset, pineapple, peach and light lychee hints, fizzy and initially somewhat stinging carbonation; slick, lean body, light-biscuity malt profile aromatized by expressive, yet somewhat restrained Cascade, effectuating orange peel, mandarin and dried thyme impressions retronasally while depositing a long, spicy yet proportionally soft bitterness to the finish, while sweet fruity aspects and biscuitiness linger. Streamlined, elegant, citric IPA, of an 'international', generic style that tones down the harsh bitterness of the original West Coast IPAs but at the same time refrains from exaggerating into fruit juice New England territory; very accessible in that sense, also because the actual bitterness remains relatively gentle for the style, but very well made so I think it deserves a better score here than previous raters have given so far.
