La bière blonde biologique Karland pur malt est élaborée en fermentation haute. On l’appelle aussi la Plutôt Blonde K’ambrée, elle est rafraîchissante, aromatique et délicieusement amère.

At Gentse Biervereniging’s New Year’s reception. Organic Belgian style blonde with thick and frothy, very moussy, snow white, lacing head and hazy straw blonde colour with fierce sparkling pushing upwards. Aroma of unripe peach, pear, dough, apple peel, some soapy coriander seed, white pepper, breakfast cereals, field flowers, light banana. Fruity, estery onset, apple-ish with hints of banana, green gooseberry and pear, supple and medium carbonated body, somewhat creamy in the middle, soft bready and cereally malt sweetishness, some spicy phenols, floral hops and earthy yeast in the finish, very gently bittering. Nothing wrong here technically, but far from inspired, considering the vast amount of similar beers in Belgium (and to a certain extent the ’beery’ part of France, for that matter).
