500ml bottle, thanks to djoeye for sharing. Stable white head over golden body with sediments floating around. Spotty lacing. Restrained aroma of grain and rice. Distant taste profile of rice, grain, and vague herbal hops. Mid-sweet pale malty end. Soft carbonated. Drinkable, rather empty though. (Rating session with Finn, Imojoh and djoeye, Tromsø 15.04.2020).

Pale lager made with rice, exclusively for Indonesian restaurants, the only one of which that serves this in Belgium (at least so I was told) is based in the Ghent Patershol quarter: Gado Gado, where I tasted this as their house beer on New Year's Eve. Irregularly lacing, snow white, moussy, thick, large-bubbled head over a cristal clear, deep 'old gold' coloured beer with vivid sparkling throughout. Aroma of soggy breakfast cereals and soggy rice bread, chicken food, freshly cut grass, minerals, molten rubber. Neutral onset, sweetish graininess, coming across as more slick and rounded than average for a pale lager - doubtlessly due to the rice; strong minerally fizz, pure and clean cereally aspect lingering with some grassy, mildly bittering hops in the finish. Simple, straightforward, neutral quencher like any pale lager, but for me this is clearly elevated above the masses of cheaply made industrial examples, feeling a bit more full, more 'honestly' sweet and more pleasantly rounded, even if it is still what it is, namely a simple pale lager.

(Bottle, 0.5 l, at Annapurna, Helsinki, 20170703) The beer poured deep golden and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had sweetness and mildly grass. Palate was light bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were sweetness, malts, grass and mild bitterness. Aftertaste was mildly bitter. An easy-to-drink pale lager.
