Apart from their great oud bruin beers, Clarysse also produced this pale lager, taken over by Leroy when Clarysse stopped brewing in 2002. A gentle, genuine lager with pure pale malts, no disturbing corn or metal flavours, relatively rich and full taste at least for its style, with a nice floral hoppiness in the end. One of those old-fashioned regional ’pilsbieren’ which slightly transcend the big industrial average. Not sure if this is still made, though.
