Bottle from a local bottle shop. Spicy malty aroma with caramel, brown malt, gale, dark bread, and a hint of chocolate. Flavour is sweet with a light bitterness. Body is medium, should be a bit more full to accomodate aroma and flavour methinks. Sweet malts and spices, flawed but not bad.

Hazy deep amber colour, small frothy off-white head, mostly diminishing, light lacing. Aroma roasted malt, brown sugar, sugar syrup, strong on spices: ginger, galanga, anise, soapy notes. Taste light heavy sweet and light bitter, malty, spices: ginger, galanga, anise. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, spicy sweetbitter aftertaste, lacks subtlety, spuces too outspoken, acceptable bock.
