Slice into this bold barrel-aged imperial stout and experience the nostalgia-inducing aroma of a warm cherry pie. Full-bodied and smacking of freshly-picked tart cherries, rich artisan vanilla, cinnamon and hints of brown sugar. This bakery is open for business.

Bottle. Black pour. Aroma of cherry, chocolate, vanilla, caramel and some malt. Taste has lots of cinnamon, cherry, chocolate, caramel, vanilla, strawberry, malt, soft bourbon and a sugary cinnamon finish. I like it, but I'm glad I'm sharing this one.

Super smooth, reminds me almost of a nitro. But the sour cherry & cinnamon, not a big fan.

Cinnamon and cherries, lacking body. Nose is all cinnamon, front is cherries, and then das it. For pie id expect some graham cracker notes, not bad just lacking/slacking.

Zoet, chocolade, kokosnoot, ook een beetje zuur, kersen. Beter dan die andere Bruery Bakery.

The prodigal son brought me a pint can of Cherry Pie from Houston to try. We are now later tasting together by FaceTime with some classic rock playing in the background. Good by me all around. I'll be using a Great Heights tulip glass this evening in honor of H-Town. The liquid is extremely dark with brown and amber highlights on the outside, a medium tan head accompanies. Very fragrant, cherries in profusion with a crusty background effect. Now a drink, yep, it does taste like a cherry pie with vanilla, malt, spices, cinnamon I think, very much a dessert brew. The alcohol is detectable but that is all right by me. I approve, well done to the folks at the Bruery.

On draught at Bob’s Bar during the 18th Annual Extravaganza!!! on 02/29/2020. Glossy black color with a medium thick tan head that diminishes gradually to a film. Patches of lace. Malty aroma with cherry and cinnamon notes. Full-bodied with flavors of chocolate malt, bourbon, cherry, cinnamon and vanilla. The finish is fruity and oaky with a boozy cherry cordial aftertaste. Good beer all around.

Återigen oerhört välgjord supergod öl från The Bruery. Om du gillar 🍒
