Donzoko and Braybrooke share a love of classic lager styles. This Vienna Lager was originally brewed by Reece and Braybrooke head brewer Mario on Braybrooke Farm. It was so good we decided to brew it again in Hartlepool
Vienna malt and a small amount of caramel malt build a beautiful amber colour and bready character. Classic German hops impart a light bitterness and floral hop character. We adjusted pH with our lactic acid culture, fermented with Braybrooke’s house yeast and matured it cold for 30 days. The end result is a delicious lager with a slight malt sweetness, light enough to be enjoyed over and over again.

Panda at home, thanks to Fergus, 23/05/21. Clear copper pour with a good sized off white covering. Nose is pale malts, bread dough, toasted grains, hint of red berry, caramel. Taste comprises pale and bready malts, toasted grains, caramel, corn husk, cereals, biscuit, crackers. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Solid flavoursome logger bier.

Can at home from HOTM online. A clear orange / amber coloured pour with a fine off white head. Aroma is clean nutty biscuity malts, hint of toffee, some dried apple, layered malts. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, nutty, toffee malts, hints of smoke, caramel bar. some toffee apple. esters, pretty clean, rounded cereals. Palate is semi sweet, medium bodied, fine carbonation. Really nice layered malts, hint of grassy hop, nice.

Can from NE Brews. Hazy golden colour with a white head. Aroma and taste are malty bread and floral. Medium bittersweet. Crisp body.

Red hue malt. White lacing. Clean malt base. Broken biscuits. Crisp and very drinkable. Malt showcase. Exactly what I need for as a Vienna Lager. Very well-made and seasonable.
