Donzoko and Braybrooke share a love of classic lager styles. This Vienna Lager was originally brewed by Reece and Braybrooke head brewer Mario on Braybrooke Farm. It was so good we decided to brew it again in Hartlepool

Vienna malt and a small amount of caramel malt build a beautiful amber colour and bready character. Classic German hops impart a light bitterness and floral hop character. We adjusted pH with our lactic acid culture, fermented with Braybrooke’s house yeast and matured it cold for 30 days. The end result is a delicious lager with a slight malt sweetness, light enough to be enjoyed over and over again.

Can at home in Hackney - picked up from HOTM. Pours clear honey-ok with a foamy, white topping. Moderate sweetness with pleasant notes of sun-kissed grain, pale bread, light grass, biscuits. Light bodied with average carbonation. Crunchy biscuits to finish. Tasty.

Can from HoTM. It pours ever so slightly hazy golden with a a quickly dissipating white head. The aroma is cereal, nuttiness, hint of marmalade, spicy, bready malt, earthy and some biscuit. The taste is crisp, dry, touch of bitterness, spicy, nutty, cereal, twist of orangey citrus, marmalade, biscuit, grass and some floral accents with a dry, spicy finish. Average body and fine carbonation. Decent stuff.

Thin off white head stayed on a nicely carbonated unclear amber coloured body. Sweet malt & bread aroma. Medium bodied, smooth with a tingle on the back & clean dry aft. Malt, cereal, bready & chalky tastes with lightly hopped sweet jam finish. Nice.

500ml can bought from the Offie, Leicester and drunk at home. Light Amber gold and clear with a soft and short-lived off-white head. Light grainy aroma, some honey, a little dab of glue resin. Sweet taste, Light resinous notes, with a gentle hop bitter and a slightly drying finish. Bitter fruits and more glue and grain notes in the aftertaste. Carbonation on the heavy side. Quite a nice Vienna
