500ml bottle. Clear amber colour with a small white head which doesn’t last long. Aroma is malty, lightly roasted - label claims plum and vanilla - not sure I can detect any of that but there is some sweetness, perhaps that’s what it is. Flavour is malty, caramel, lightly spiced, subtle fruitiness. Nice but a bit underwhelming overall.

Bottle at Vinyl, Zagreb. 25 effin’ kunas for this... Yeah, dull, clear amber body, not much head. Stale, diluted malty aroma nose, stale, very much diluted malty taste, unpleasant messy aftertaste. This is godawful and I cannot believe anyone would be so tasteless as to import this and market it as craft. Though, seriously, yeah, craft has its own awful beers, which the Croatian craft scene lacks, so guess this goes for that niche. If you like something that tastes 3 Euros less than it costs - go ahead. I, honestly, feel robbed. And I expected something at least, at the very least en par with the passable Worthington’s.

500ml bottle from a local store in Croydon. Rapidly declining beige head. Crystal clear amber coloured body. Mild caramel nose. Flavoured with caramel malts and offset by a smooth bitter twist towards the ending. Clean in the mouth. Decent (shared with Finn, hotel room 27.11.2015).

Copper colored, small non lasting off white head. Aroma is of caramel biscuits and bits of fruit with some grassiness. Taste is low+ sweet malt, mostly biscuit aroma with some fruity, orange bits and grassy dryish low+ bitterness. Low to medium bodied and carbonation, thin. Advertised as Craft in Croatia, a reactionary import to combat the rising craft beer scene. Not amused, but not as disappointed as I was expecting I’d be.

500ml bottle from local shop. Copper amber colour, thin beige foam head and grassy metallic aroma. Flavour of malt, caramel, grain, fruity & earthy with some tangy bitterness. Light bodied, medium carbonation, dryish nutty bitter finish. OK.

Fra flaske på RBHD-treff ombord på Fridtjofen aug-15: klar kobbergylden med kort skum. Litt karamell og forsiktig humlebruk, godt balansert. Meget lettdrikkelig men egentlig heller intetsigende. Ser at jeg har notert noe tilsvarende for cask-versjonen.

Shared 500 ml clear bottle at local tasting, from a Tesco store in Gloucester. ABV is 4.3%. Copper colour, low white head. Weak aroma, a little caramel and nuts. Nutty flavour, medium dry, tolerable hops, not exciting but easy drinking.

Shared bottle at RB/HD on board Fridtjofen 23.08.15. Clear dark golden to dark copper. Uneven, beige head. Some malt and marmalade in aroma and taste. Slightly sour. Hop bitterness and malt in aftertaste. A bit waterish, but has good drinkability.
