Home grown, golden yellow, sweet potato beer.
SWEET!

"The Valley" as it is known, up Kawiti way, is steeped in Maori history and has some of the best volcanic soil for growing. You get the sweetest, golden Kumara in the whole of Aotearoa up in the Far North.

Nanpaa, my Grandfather, always had a big garden full of peru peru's, kamokamo, sweet corn and Kumara's.
When my Mum & Dad took over the farm, they also had a big garden where they toiled away during the hot summer months. There was always fresh veggies from the garden on the table.
"The Valley" is a place where I spent a lot of time with my WHIU whanau, all the kids sleeping out in the garage, the Aunty's and Uncle's with the guitars out having a sing-a-long. Awesome!
