Prime Manuka Honey from the farm, reminds me of catching tuna in the creek, baling hay and hanging out with the cuzzies. A medical master piece with all the natural healing benefits of Manuka Honey. AWESOME!

As you head north along State Highway 1 from Whangarei to Kawakawa you pass Towai Pub, a small local watering hole that appears in the middle of nowhere. A little further up the road on the left you have the Maromaku turnoff and if you cast your eyes towards the horizon further in the distance you can see Motatau Mountain, affectionally called Montana by my mum.
At the foot of this mountain is Prime Holdings where my mother grew up. The Farm is still in the family and is a place where I have many fond summer mermories from my childhood.
Back then it was pretty untamed, we got our milk from the cow in the paddock, food was cooked on a wood burning stove and we washed in the freezing mountain creek just down from the cabin. We spent our days helping KP on the farm, pruning pine trees and pulling out ragwort. In the evenings the cousins slept Marae style on the floor.

The Manuka Honey in this ALE comes from the farm, a place which holds so many wonderful memories for me. I am truely grateful to my to-numerous to name Prime Whanau.
