Clear dark red brown colour, tall frothy beige head, slowly collapsing, thick layer remains, fair lacing. Aroma sweet malts, roasted, caramel, brown sugar, dark fruits. Taste medium to light heavy sweet and light bitter, malty, sugary, average duration. Roasty sweetbitter finish, medium body, watery to oily texture, soft carbonation. Especially too thin in taste and body after the promising aroma.

Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, sweet malt, sugary, brown sugar, dark fruit. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, sugary, candy, brown sugar, sweet malt, fruity, dark fruit. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20150117]

33 cl bottle @ home. Nice, clear, dark brown-reddish color. Light beige head with big bubbles. Aroma’s: dark sugar, red fruit, sweet malts, a little bit of roast and something else, herbal? Flavor is rather sweet, slightly roasted. Medium bodied, Quite high carb. Not much of a finish.

Bottle @ home. Clear dark amber color, medium sized beige head. Smell and taste malts, some caramel, leaves, something else I can’t quite put my finger on. Average to medium body, high a bit fizzy carbonation.

donker bruin/rood met schuimige witte kraag welke goed aan het glas blijft kleven. De aroma’s zijn betrekkelijk licht wat moutig en zoet. Smaken: matig zoet, zwak bittertje, zacht moutig, licht fruitig van wat donker fruit. medium body, dun van textuur,. Ik vind het bier best goed op elkaar afgestemd qua smaken, kwalitatief goed bier.

Bottle from ABC Beers, Den Haag. Poured a murky dark brown with a frothy off-white head. The aroma is malt yeast and treacle. The flavour is medium bitter with a sharp yeast slightly liqourice bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.
