12 oz can. Beer poured a golden color, huge foamy white head. Aroma was bland malts, corn, no real hop character at all. Bland, grass notes, water, corn.

Trader Joe’s six-pack ($4): Sometimes I make errors of judgment. Yesterday was one of them. I decided that I don’t have enough money for craft brews, so I purchased beer at Trader Joe’s. I have a six-pack of this stuff now. I don’t know what to do with it, because drinking it is the last thing on my mind. Maybe I will get used to the bizarre rotten licorice taste. Maybe I’ll get used to pumping my body not only with mediocrity, but error. This beer is a mistake, an abortion. I would in honesty rather be drinking Bud. And that is saying something.

Bottle. Poured pale golden yellow with thick white head. Faint grassy aroma, with a whiff of swimming pool. Rather thin flavour, a bietje mout, a little hop but not very much of either. Very mild bitter finish

I always look forward to a good pilsner but this didn’t get there. Yellow. Some corn. Mild lager yeast and light corn flavor. Purchased at Trader Joes, Minnesota.

12 oz bottle from Trader Joe’s, Bakersfield. Nose of grassy hops and light grainy (corn) sweetness along with a very light diacetyl note.Lightly hazy gold with a medium white head. Flavor is very light hop bitterness, corn, and some light diacetyl. Without the diacetyl it would be an OK pilsener.

Bottle from Trader Joe’s in Roseville. Brassy gold color with a frothy white head. Fairly decent aroma - but mostly grain. A bit corny as the glass approaches the lips. Near medium body with frothy carbonation. Not very much hop. Not very much point.
