Reviewed from notes.
This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a brown color with a bar pour’s kind of slim head.
The smell had a light sweet honey and then a roasty and woody spicy aroma (mesquite perhaps).
The taste took the honey and the woody spiciness and let in a light toasted grain and caramel.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a decent sessionable quality to it. On the tongue, it came across with a light tingle of spice but still letting the honey come in as well.
Overall, pretty good brown ale that had a little more going on than other brown ales I’ve had. I’d have this again.

on tap at the brewpub pours brown with a thin tan head. Aroma is floral with honeysuckle and light roast. Flavor is light roast, nutty malts with a finish that equal parts peppery and sweet. Honey lingers in the finish and makes the beer feel very light and refreshing.
