Roasted barley is the trademark of stout, a bittersweet separation from its cousin Porter. Our deep black stout is made with a grist containing 15% organic oatmeal to create its remarkable silky texture.

Sampled on draft at the brewery this beer poured a black color with a medium sized beige head. The aroma was toasty malts, vanilla and merlot. The flavor was butter, dry and bitter with a tangy merlot presence and hints of coffee and chocolate. The finish was long with merlot and coffee. Full bodied and smooth. Odd but interesting.
