Bottle at the "Colin and the Vikings tasting, Goteborg". Poured a clear dark brown with a round off-white head. The aroma is rich red beery fruit, alcohol, burnt wood, malt. The flavour is medium to strong bitter with a smooth rich malt alcoholic liqourice bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.A super heart-warming beer.

Bomber bought @ bierkompass.de. Pours reddish brown with a rather small brownish beige head that doesn’t leave much trace while dissipating. Smell is malty and tiny estery with biscuits, banana bread, oatmeal cookies, soil, hay, burnt wood and caramel. Taste is sweet, bitter, estery and phenolic with biscuits, caramel, hay, burnt wood, smoked sausages, banana bread, sheet metal, raisin bran, vanilla fudge and soil. Mouthfeel is soft, round and medium bodied. finish is sweet, bitter and slightly malty with biscuits, caramel, banana bread, hay, burnt wood and sheet metal. Quite dirty… Possibly just the way it should be.

Sample from batch #193 at Kurtkeller 004: Pipeworks-tastic 01 on 01/18/2014. The beer pours dark brown with a medium thick light beige head that recedes gradually. Patchy lacing on the glass. Aroma of malt, caramel and fruit. Medium to full body with flavors of peaty malt, caramel, dark fruits and a touch of hops. The finish is malty with an earthy finish. Above average overall.

@Festival der Bierkulturen: Rötlichbraun mit wenig Schaum. Geruch malzig süß, würzig, reife Früchte. Geschmack malzig süß nach reifen Früchten, Gewürzen.

66cl bottle from ølbutikken, waxed. clear brown, practically no head. nutty aroma, strong notes of dried dark fruits, raisins and malts.syrup. quite spicy. for this kind of aroma, pretty powerfull and solid. Flavor is dried dark fruits, malts, spices, christmas pudding with booze and all, heavy drink, suitable as a sipper, but not something to finish quick.

Botella de 65 cl en el Lupulo. Octubre de 2013. Cuerpo medio de color ambar muy oscuro con espuma blanca no muy persistente. Sabores especiados y sobre todo a melaza. Toques algo tostados. Buena aunque al final se hace un poco pesada de beber de tanta especia y melaza.

Bottle. Frothy White fair mostly deminishing head. Black colour. Heavy malty and moderate hoppy aroma. Some roast. Heavy bitter wonderfull flavor. Powerfull licorice and some roast. Long heavy bitter finish. Creamy palate.

Bottle - Toasted malts, raisin, brown sugar and some oak notes. Cloudy brown with a thin brown head. Molasses, dark malts, bread and raisins. Very rich and malty, a robust dark scotch ale. Different but I really like it.

Sampled from bottle @ The Hague Tasting. Hazy reddish color, small beige head. Smell malts, lightly smoke, lightly herbs or spices, vanilla. Taste malts, slightly some sweetness, some smoke, lightly spices, slightly alcohol. Quite decent actually.
