500 ml bottle, will soon be available at Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 4.8%. Very dark ruby colour, moderate beige head. Sweetish aroma of caramel malts and herbs, notes of raspberry jam too. The flavour is not very sweet, light bodied, with distinct notes of minerals and algae, mild roasty notes in the background. Very moderate hops, slightly salty aftertaste. Recommended food pairing: Sushi with algae and wasabi.

Bottle looks interesting. Beer in the glass deep black, nice head. Starts intense malty, earthy, some soapy parfume notes. Modest sourish. Finish earthy-malty and a bit unbalanced. Hmm, not my favourite.

Dark colour with a thick, light brown head. The aroma has a light roastiness and appetizing leafy hoppiness.

Dark brown with a lasting tan head. Aroma of raisin, prunes and toffee. Sweet fruity flavour with toffee and toasted malt, a bit cloying in its sweetness

Bottle. A big, off-white to light beige head leaving lacings sits on top of a clear, chestnut body. Unusual aroma, reminiscent of raisins, licorice, bread crust, yeast hints and something I can’t recall. Unusual but quite nice. Caramel, raisins, something slighlty spiced and herbal and some yeast on the nose. Medium body, dryish and pleasantly carbonated. A really unusual one, but I like it quite much. 110624
