Rye has been a staple grain for millennia—sought after for its stubborn resilience in the field and revered for its unique flavor. Ruthless Rye IPA is brewed with rustic grains for refined flavors, combining the peppery spice of rye and the bright citrusy flavors of whole-cone hops to create a complex ale for the tumultuous transition to spring.

355ml bottle from Drygate. Pours amber with decent head. Hoppy aroma, well matched by the slightly bitter taste with grapefruit hints. Decent

Bottle from Cornelius. Hazy amber body with a medium off-white head. Steady carbonation. Light lacing. Aroma of citrus, weak coffee, nail varnish and a hint of vomit. Flavour of wood, grapefruit and green leafy hops. Medium body with an oily texture. Soft fizz. Easy drinking but a bit dull - strange aroma, too...

Flaske 350ml fra Vinmonopolet, Tromsø Sentrum. Mørk gyldenbrun. Lavt tett skum. Beskjeden aroma av mørk frukt. Smaken litt tung. Mørke plommer. Blir litt syrlig etter hvert og avslutter tørt.

World Cup Beer. Slightly hazy amber with a lasting white head. Malty aroma with bread and biscuit, and a mild citrus hop character. Sweetish malty flavour with citrus and a touch of pine. Tasty and well brewed, though I had hoped for a little more hops

Bottle. A- Rye, pepper, spicy. A- Copper color, hazy liquid, off white head. T- Pepper, rye, spicy, bitter. P- Full body, sharp texture, average carbonation, spicy finish. O- Quite good. Not usually a fan of rye IPAs but this is very well done. Lots of pepper and spice that tames the bitterness but it still plenty bitter enough that there is no doubting this is an IPA. The spice and rye is heavy but it still manages to be very drinkable.

Flaske fra polet i Straensenteret: mørk kobberfarge med fint gardinskum. Mild aroma av rug, furunål og citrus sammen med litt maltsødme. Smaken er overraskende slank som gjør den lett (og rask) å nyte. Litt sitron i ettersmaken. God, lettdrikkelig ipa men jeg foretrekker fortsatt deres vanlige pale ale og Torpedo.
