Bottle, 2013 vintage. Pours hazy dark orange with an airy finger thick head. Aroma is hoppy orange and apricot, as well as grainy malt, caramel, some spices and a whiff of alcohol. Creamy body with soft carbonation. Flavour is bitter with hoppy orange peel, grapefruit, apricot and toffee.

0.355l bottle. This is a deep dark orange amberr one, and it has a small beige lacing head on the top. The aroma reveals pine, wood, birch and in general its quite pungent and hoppy! In the taste I get a nice almost rough sweetness. It's also somewhat floral. The carbonation is about what you can expect and it feels light oily in the mouth. Surprisingly light and easy to drink this, was expecting a bit more resistance but this is smooth! Lots of pine hops lingering in the aftertaste along with bitter zest. 35cl bottle, vintage 2013, bought at Vinmonopolet Tromsø Sentrum. Close to clear, golden-brown coloured body. Firm and lasting off-white head. Spotty glass-lacing. Mid-sweet, citrus hoppy nose with bread-like malts beneath. Flavours of pine, resin, and peaches on a backbone of mild dark spices. Smooth bittersweet finish. Medium bodied. Good drinking (at home Tromsø 03.11.2013).

Sampled from bottle @ The Hague tasting. Clear dark orange color, small white head. Smell and taste malts, hops, rye, bitter. As expected, but no flaws, nice beer. Medium body and carbonation.

35cl bottle shared at October THT tasting in the Hague. Thin creamy white head. Clear golden amber pour. Lovely citrus bitterness. An enjoyable brew!

Medium shiny beige head. Hazy amber body with light carbonation. Dry-sweet resiny tropical fruit and caramel taste with wooden spicy notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dry, spicy resiny salty aftertaste with rye crisp bread notes. Nice, drinkable. Full of character. (0.3l draft at Café Sara, Oslo.)

Bottle at home. Has a clear light amber colour with an off-white, medium head. Nice warming aroma of fruity hops, dried fruit and some pine and caramel. More hops and caramel in the flavour that lingers. Hints of roasted malt. Rich and smooth mouth feel, and has a medium bitterness. Balanced and rich IPA. Nice.

Nice creamy looonglasting head. Aroma is slightly sweet fruity, caramel malts, leafs, sap, sugar, dried fruits, grass, pine needles. Taste is slightly sweet and grassy, wet leafs, pine needles, harsh grass, lots of hops, soil, bark, cardboard, dried fruits. Longlasting harsh bitterness. Fair enough, not my kind of beer.

Appearance: Clear orange golden color with a big creamy white head that leaves a fine lacing.
Aroma: Strong grape hoppy and mild fruity.
Palate: Medium + body. Slightly sweet and a rich bitterness. Soft carbonation.
Taste: Rich grape hoppy, fruity, mild spicy and a fine solid malty back.
Overall impression: Tasty, balanced and powerful IPA.

Tap East. Keg. Hazy amber beer, small pale cream coloured head. Palate is smooth with fine minerally carbonation. Creamy malt with a caramel streak. Light rye spice. Mild ripe orange underneath. Subtle floral note. Finishes smooth with more rye spice. Good but I like my Rye IPAs with more hop.
