This beer is the continuation of something completely new and building on a set foundation at the same time. Its journey starts in the US where we under the Twelve Percent Beer Project brewed two stouts, Fudge and Coffee. We thought we were done there but upon tasting them and thinking about them we realized we had something cool on our hands, something we could play around with. So, the GRAND series was born. GRAND is a series of stouts, a canvas, that we color as we go along. After the distinkt tastes of Fudge, Coffee, Choco Chip and Cake emulating the taste of a ’lussebulle’ was what we wanted to do. And so we did. Expect a lot from this beer and this series. We assure you it’s going to be grand.

Flarra på stor ölprovning med PQ på min restaurang .När jag klunkar kommer choklad bourbon. ocv sen massor saffran . Den jäveln har tydligen 76,5 lussebullar per flarra . Ja sen tyvär är ölen lite för söt för få topp betyg

Smell of chocolate, cocoa. Black colour, tiny beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, molasses, some booze. Lively carbon. Slick texture. Sweet.

Tap at Beer Hunters. Opaque colour and small beige head. Alcoholic, sweet saffron aroma. Medium-bodied. Alcoholic, medicinal licorice flavour with saffron. Very restless.

Bottle (from Alko web). Black colour, mediumsized brown head. Aroma is saffron, some medicinal and mild rubbery tones with roast and mudcake. Flavour is saffron, some liquorice liquor, mild chocolate, mud cake and a bit of alcohol. Too sweet for it's own good.

Brewcraft closing party #….8? Weird. Saffron flavor doesn’t blend well at all. Aroma is a bit pastry. Flavor is odd. Half nice sweeter stout, half bitter/medicinal flavor. Not great.

Svart med lys brunt skum. Lukter mørk sjokolade og safran. Lussekatter med sjokoladetrekk. Fyldig. Smaker papp, mørk sjokolade og safran.

330ml bottle. Pours jet black with no head. Aroma is sweet orange, which is probably saffron and dark chocolate. Taste has dark chocolate, saffron, orange and liquorice. Boozy finish.
