Bottled (BB 02/2009)
Dark chestnut brown color, small creamy beige head. Grassy and burnt malty aroma. Caramelly sweet, some grassy hops, brown candy sugar - very sweet. A bit like some Budels products (bock etc).

Bottled. Deep amber colour, small beige head. Aroma is barnyard, malts, and some mild sweetness. Flavour is leathery, hoppy, and malty. Even some slight roasted notes in it. Very alternative bockflavour.

Very dark brown colour. Dry aroma with a hint of alcohol. Flavour is rather bland. A complete lack of maltiness and sweetness makes this a poor bock.

Clear dark brown color, short brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, some rye. Typical bock taste, bit watery, quite sweet. Reasonable bock.

(bottle) Dark reddish brown colour with a foamy tanned medium head. Sweet malty nose, slightly toasted, touch of caramel. Sweet flavour, medium body and soft carbonation. Sweet malty start with caramel and sweetbitter toastmalty finish. Not bad, a decent Bock.

Faint, short lived yellowish head, very fast gone; dark brown beer with reddish shine. Whiff of vanilla, lots of caramel, bit of laurel in the nose. Surprisingly dry-bitterish taste, pretty litle sweetness really. Lines a tad harsh around the tongye, but nothing shocking. Shocking is rather that I like a AH beer - they asked the right one. Medium bodied, dry, a bit resiny. It’s not exciting - but it is good, and, at least, a lot less sweet than most of those deadly-stereotyped Dutch bocks.
