Our signature brew and first ever beer, we have brewed it with every brewery we’ve worked with. It now has its home at the Great Yorkshire Brewery. Looks like a wheat beer, tastes like an IPA. Our flagship brew - a hybrid style beer rarely seen in the UK. It has a high percentage of malted wheat which when combined with the generous amount of Citra T90s (added as a dry hop post fermentation) gives a beautifully light and citrusy flavour and aroma. Hibernation is unfiltered, unfined and unpasteurised for great taste and at 5.2% it packs the punch that customers expect of an IPA. We have lowered the front end bitterness to put greater emphasis on drinkability and allow the great aroma and flavour of this beer to really shine.

Can 330ml (AbM)
Golden color, medium-sized white head. Overfermented cheese, grass and grain in the nose. Light-bodied. Flavour is also oddly cheesy with citrus, pale malts and a bit hop pellety. Weird. Maybe yeast has done tricks.

330ml can picked up at Piccadilly Tap. Slightly gushing. Rocky white tophead, solid lacing. Misty golden body. Ripe citrus nose. Hopped fruity taste of grapefruit and ripe lemon. Bitter and dry to the finish. Good drinking (Shared with Finn on a CrossCountry train from Birmingham til Plymouth, 21.09.2016).

Keg tap at Brewhouse & Kitchen Bedford. Golden with a little bit of head and a lot of lacing. Light buttery aroma and slightly skunky. Bittersweet taste, full and drinkable with a suggestion of hops that doesn’t really live up to expectations. Short finish. Good but fairly anonymous. More personality please!!

Can at Ravensgate Arms Ramsgate. Hazy gold colour lasting white head. Some sherbet hop aroma. I rather like it quite light. A little wheat presence. Mostly a wheaty hoppy sherbet feel. Ok. Light grapefruit and lemon.
