Our signature brew and first ever beer, we have brewed it with every brewery we’ve worked with. It now has its home at the Great Yorkshire Brewery. Looks like a wheat beer, tastes like an IPA. Our flagship brew - a hybrid style beer rarely seen in the UK. It has a high percentage of malted wheat which when combined with the generous amount of Citra T90s (added as a dry hop post fermentation) gives a beautifully light and citrusy flavour and aroma. Hibernation is unfiltered, unfined and unpasteurised for great taste and at 5.2% it packs the punch that customers expect of an IPA. We have lowered the front end bitterness to put greater emphasis on drinkability and allow the great aroma and flavour of this beer to really shine.

330ml bottle from Hippo Beers. Pours a hazy yellowy golden colour with a white foam head leaving lacing. Grainy aoma with some zesty citrus. Flavour is grain, wheat, earthy with hints of mellow citrus and grassy bitterness. Smooth mouthfeel, medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry grassy tangy bitter finish. Quite OK.

330ml bottle @ The Posada, Wolverhampton just before seeing Biohazard at Slade Rooms. Pours hazy blonde, large white head. Aroma is citrus and spice. Taste is light and citrussy with some Belgian wit notes. Easy-drinking with a moderate bitterness.

33cl bottle from Beer52.com. A slightly hazy amber pour with a billowing cream head; orangey malt aroma; a big orangey taste with a sharp citrus bitterness; and a creamy finish with lingering grapefruit. A pleasant enough APA, but I’m not sure where the wheat beer concept comes in.

Bottle@Pratts & Payne, Streatham, London (05/06/2015) - fuzzy golden coloured pour with white head. Citrus fruity and grassy aroma and taste, straw, hay, lemon, wheaty, some floral and herbal nuances going on, dry finish. Ok.

17/1/2015 Bottle at the Norwich Tap House. Poured a hazy gold colour with small white head. Aroma is floral, with citrus, and mild hop. Light body, texture a little on the thin side. Low carbonbation. Dry finish. 3/9/2016 Tap at East Town, Ipswich. Hazy golden colour with a lasting firm white head. Aroma as before. Carbonation quite high compared to bottle. Medium bitterness. Nicer on tap.

Bottle at four quarters, Peckham. It pours lightly hazy golden with a small white head. The nose is sweet tropical fruit action, juicy, wheat, dough, straw and toasty grain. The taste crisp, bitter, toasty grain, straw, dough, citrus peel and pepper with a dry finish. Medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. Taste doesn’t live up to nose, but not bad anyhow.

330ml bottle. Slightly cloudy, golden colour with average, frothy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Piney and citrusy, fruity hop aroma, notes of pineapple, a touch of mango and passion fruit. Taste is bitter hoppy, notes of pineapple, mango, passion fruit, subtle pale malty sweetness. First sip is excellent and deeply impressive, familiarisation makes it more ordinary ("Gewöhnung macht es gewöhnlich".). Still a nice one.

On keg at the Craft Beer Rising event at the Drygate brewery. I think this should be under the style of Wheat Ale as it was an IPA with a high proportion of wheat in there. Anyway, it was a bit earthy on the nose but on the taste there was a lot more of the big citrus notes with that creamy and slightly sour/drying note underneath.
