Ghost Ship is a ghostly pale ale which takes its inspiration from Adnams 600-year-old haunted pub, The Bell. Brewed with a selection of malts - Pale Ale, Rye Crystal and Cara. We use Citra, and a blend of other American hop varieties to create some great citrus flavours.

0,5l bottle from Stonemanor, The British Store near Brussels. F: thin, off-white quick gone. C: amber, clear. A: a lot of citrus, grapefruits, bit caramel, floral. T: grapefruits, citrus, caramel, clear taste, decent long lasting bitterness, soft carbonation, nice pale ale yet not very fruity feeling.

Smell- weak, maybe malt, maybe fish. Foam-thin, weak malt, faint roast. Head is small, white color. Sticks a bit. Appearance- brewer bottle cap, I like label and wording on it, hauntingly good beer :) guess we will see. Clear orange-amber, no carbonation. From- snifter Taste - weak hops, weak malt, bit more hops and bitterness, some odd aftertaste, both dry and pulling quite roasty and bitter. Dont know... this is not for me, meh.

Pours a deep gold / pale amber with a frothy white head, and a malty aroma with a hint of citrus. The taste is more citrusy than the nose, with the biscuit malt backbone clearly evident, and a very smooth, slightly carbonated mouthfeel, leaving some citrus bitterness in the finish

Bottle expiry in 11 months. Pours a light amber, white head that leaves lacing. Aroma of citrus, grapefruit and malt. Moderate to low carbonation, decent body. Taste of grapefruit, malts, sweetness, hops with a moderate bitterness. Nice

Many thanks for this Ale to dantomlinson. Piwo ma nawet fajna piane, srednio trwala, barwa bursztynowa, Citra wyczuwalna w smaku, fajne klimaty zywiczno morelowe. troche bardziej te suszone morele jak dla mnie no i zblizone do ESB. Kolejny raz jestem zadowolony z jakosci piw Adnams Brewery.
