Imperial IPA Aged in Bourbon Barrels
Doom may be impending but that doesn’t mean you have to fear it. A collision of worlds, the intense hop character of our imperial IPA mingles with the warm vanilla and oak notes imparted from time spent in our favorite bourbon barrels. Like all good things, Doom comes to those who wait.

Very smooth, caramels, mildly hoppy, and warming. Really nice.

Thick, oaky, boozy, strong. Needs aging I think.

Beczka kokosowo-dziegciowa. Jakies miodowe klimaty solidne (moze to mocne utlenienie?). Slodkie. Mocna dluga srednio mila gorycz. Fuzle? :(

Bottle from Liquor Barn. Pours a deep, glowing copper with a finger of creamy foam. Lots of vanilla cream in the nose, oak, pine and booze. Boozy from the mid-palate. Hot finish with some sherry-like creaminess, more pine and caramel throughout. Bitter and boozy finish. Not my kind of double IPA. --- Beer merged from original tick of Doom on 13 Jun 2017 at 21:19 - Score: 6. Original review text: Lots of vanilla cream in the nose, oak, pine and booze.
