Teenage kicks.

Our latest liquid milestone, brewed to celebrate our 13th anniversary.

The complex malt bill of this 15.3% bourbon barrel aged imperial stout unloads an eclectic mix of vanilla, toffee, coffee, dried dark fruits, molasses, with the addition of chillies provides an undercurrent of subtle heat.

Bottle from BD AGM. It pours opaque jet black with a study deep tan head. The aroma is rich roasted malt, bitter - sweet, lovely dark chocolate vibes, brownies, dash of chilli spice, toffee, vanilla fudge, bourbon actions, some dark fruits and rocky road. The taste is slick, oily, unctuous, rich roasted malt, bitter - sweet, toasty, chocolate gateaux, cacao nibs, cookie dough, mellow warming chilli spice, dark fruits, cherry, rocky road, vanilla fudge, bourbon and a nip of alcohol through the finish. Full body, fine carbonation and slick mouth feel. Well rounded and dangerously drinkable.
